Manchester United has confirmed that Raphael Varane is now fit to play for the remainder of their fixtures.
However, Marcus Rashford’s availability for their upcoming match against Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday is uncertain due to a leg injury.
Manchester United has four remaining Premier League fixtures to secure a top-four position, as they currently hold a one-point lead over Liverpool with an additional game in hand.
Raphael Varane has been out of action for a month after sustaining an injury during the first leg of Manchester United’s Europa League tie against Sevilla.
During the Frenchman’s absence, Ten Hag’s side has only managed to win two out of seven games and has lost three.
Although Marcus Rashford’s form has declined lately, he would still be a significant loss for Manchester United as he currently leads their scoring charts this season with 29 goals.
During his weekly press conference, Ten Hag announced that Rapha Varane has recovered and is available to play.
However, he also mentioned that Marcus Rashford’s availability for the upcoming match is uncertain.
Ten Hag stated that Rashford is a major question mark for tomorrow’s game due to a leg injury.
He also added that he is pleased to have Varane back on the team, given his experience and leadership qualities when it comes to winning games.
Nonetheless, Rashford’s injury status remains unclear.
