The 20-year-old midfielder has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in Europe, starring for both club and country despite his tender age.
Musiala played a pivotal role as Bayern won the Bundesliga last season, scoring 16 goals and providing 16 assists across all competitions.
He has already won 24 senior caps for Germany and is nominated for the 2022 Golden Boy award.
According to German outlet Sport Bild, Liverpool are interested in signing Musiala, whose agents are not currently in talks over a new Bayern contract.
His current deal expires in June 2026, so the Reds could make their move next summer if no extension is agreed.
Musiala spent time with Chelsea and Southampton’s academies before joining Bayern in 2019. He has previously said he “enjoyed my time in England”.
The classy midfielder has bagged 23 goals in 94 Bundesliga outings and seems destined for a future move to the Premier League.
At just 20 years of age, Musiala has already won
10 major trophies, including the Champions League, at Bayern.
Liverpool will face stiff competition for his signature, but the opportunity to bring one of Europe’s elite young talents to Anfield will likely prove tempting.
