Manchester United Nears Signing Napoli Defender Kim Min-Jae

Manchester United is on the verge of securing the signing of Kim Min-Jae, the defender from Napoli.

In anticipation of his departure, Napoli is said to be actively seeking out potential replacements for the talented center-back. Kim Min-Jae joined Napoli last summer from Fenerbahce for a transfer fee of approximately €18 million (equivalent to £15 million), and his impressive performances are likely to generate a substantial profit for the Italian club.

There are rumors that Kim Min-Jae has a release clause ranging from £43 million to £52 million.

This season, he has played 43 matches for Napoli, scoring two goals and providing two assists, and has been an integral part of the team’s success, keeping 15 clean sheets on the way to winning the Scudetto.

If he finalizes his transfer to Manchester United, Kim Min-Jae will provide much-needed reinforcement to Erik ten Hag’s defensive options, which have been weakened by injuries to Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane.
