Liverpool secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against Leicester with a stunning display of attacking football, thanks to the efforts of Curtis Jones and Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Jones opened the scoring with two quick-fire goals in the first half, leaving the Foxes stunned and prompting jeers from their fans as they left the pitch at the break.
In the second half, Alexander-Arnold added to Liverpool’s lead with a simply sublime free-kick from a distance of around 25 yards.
The win keeps Liverpool’s hopes alive of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League, with the team piling pressure on Manchester United, who occupy the fourth spot in the standings. Meanwhile, Leicester will remain outside the top three after the defeat.
