Liverpool 4-3 Tottenham: Jota scored seconds later to seal the win!

Liverpool News :- Liverpool secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over Tottenham in a high-scoring encounter on Sunday. The home side got off to a flying start, with Curtis Jones and Luis Diaz scoring early on to put Liverpool 2-0 ahead.
A penalty from Mohamed Salah extended their lead, before Harry Kane pulled one back for Tottenham just before half-time.
The second half saw Son Heung-min hit the post with a great effort, before Liverpool were reduced to 10 men when Cody Gakpo was substituted due to injury and they had used all their substitutions.
Tottenham took advantage of the extra man, with Son scoring to make it 3-2 with just over 10 minutes remaining.
However, Liverpool regained their two-goal cushion when Diogo Jota scored in the 93rd minute to make it 4-2.
There was still time for Richarlison to score a late goal for Tottenham, but it proved to be too little, too late as Liverpool held on for the win.
The victory keeps Liverpool’s slim hopes of a top-four finish alive, as they move to within four points of fourth-placed Chelsea with three games remaining.
Tottenham, on the other hand, are six points adrift of the top four and will need to win their remaining games to have any chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League.
