Mohamed Salah is eyeing to break Thierry Henry’s record

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah continues to break records on a daily basis. After his hat trick against Leicester City on Monday night, he has now been involved in 10+ goals and 10+ assists in four seasons since his move to Merseyside.
If he scores one goal in the remaining two games for Jurgen Klopp’s side at Aston Villa or Southampton, he will become the first player in Premier League history to score 20 goals and more as well as assist in 10 games over three seasons.
Salah is now tied with Arsenal legend Thierry Henry who has done so in two seasons.
The 30-year-old penned a new deal in the summer and some doubted whether this was a smart move. The Reds have rewarded Salah for his performances in recent years with a record-breaking salary that will keep him at Anfield until 2025.
Salah has scored just three goals in the opening 10 Premier League games this season and provided an assist in three more and his form has dipped. However, he has hit top gear in recent weeks, scoring seven goals in his last five appearances.
His hat trick against Leicester was his 150th goal for Liverpool in all competitions and he is now just 14 goals behind Ian Rush’s all-time record.
Salah is one of the best players in the world and his record-breaking form is a major boost for Liverpool as they look to challenge for the Premier League title and Champions League next season.
