While Hojlund deserves his nomination, Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham is widely considered the favourite after an incredible start in La Liga. The England international has 10 goals and 3 assists in just 10 games for Los Blancos.
Hojlund has shown glimpses of his talent at United but will need more consistent service in attack from teammates like Marcus Rashford. Improving the coordination between attackers could help the Danish striker challenge for individual honors like the Golden Boy in future seasons.
This nomination is recognition of Hojlund’s promising potential. But United must now focus on helping their young forward continue developing into one of Europe’s best players.
