Three of Europe’s biggest teams are said to be vying for the signature of Napoli Kim Min-Jae, one of Italy’s hottest prospects. The 26-year-old centre-back has had a standout season, scoring two goals and registering two assists, helping Napoli to their first Serie A title in over 30 years.

According to Footmercato, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all interested in signing the South Korean international. Manchester United is reportedly leading the race and has already offered the player an astronomical contract offer. The report suggests that the deal is comparable to that of “a top striker,” and discussions have already taken place between the player’s representatives and United’s management.

With injuries to Raphael Varane and Lautaro Martínez, as well as the inconsistent form of Harry Maguire, Manchester United sees Kim Min-Jae as a top priority for the summer transfer window. The report also notes that United is aware of the player’s contractual situation and the presence of a release clause, said to be between £43 million and £52 million.

Liverpool and PSG are also interested in the defender and are said to have him on their wish-list. However, it seems that Manchester United is the only club to have made a concrete move to sign the player.
