How Manchester United will play West Ham United

Manchester United are set to take on West Ham United in a highly anticipated Premier League clash this Sunday.

With both teams vying for a top-four finish, the match promises to be a closely fought battle.

Ahead of the game, United’s head coach Erik ten Hag is expected to make some changes to his starting lineup.

The team suffered a 1-0 loss against Brighton & Hove Albion in their last outing, but they remain in fourth place and on track for a return to the Champions League next season.

Unfortunately, Lisandro Martinez, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay, Raphael Varane, and Tom Heaton will all be unavailable due to injuries.

However, there is some good news as Alejandro Garnacho could make a return to the squad after recovering from an ankle injury.

The young player has recently signed a new long-term deal with the club, so his return will be a welcome boost.

There may be a change in midfield as well, with Christian Eriksen potentially coming in to replace Fred. Meanwhile, in the attacking third, Jadon Sancho could replace Anthony Martial, which would see Marcus Rashford operating through the middle.

Despite Martinez and Varane being out, Harry Maguire was left on the bench against Brighton and is expected to remain there for this game.

Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw are set to continue in the middle of the defense.

Here’s a possible starting lineup for Manchester United: David De Gea in goal, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, and Diogo Dalot in defense, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, and Christian Eriksen in midfield, with Antony, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho in attack.

Overall, United will be hoping to bounce back from their recent defeat and secure a crucial victory against a strong West Ham side.

With the race for the top four heating up, every point matters, and both teams will be looking to come out on top in this exciting encounter.
