Liverpool’s pre-season has come to an end, and the team is now ready to embark on the upcoming campaign. The Reds played a total of five games during their pre-season preparations, which included matches against Darmstadt, Karlsruher, Greuther Furth, Leicester, and Bayern Munich. In terms of appearances, a total of 29 players were utilized by manager Jurgen Klopp throughout the pre-season. Some notable players who featured in all five games include Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate, Andrew Robertson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Mohamed Salah, Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Kostas Tsimikas, Alexis Mac Allister, Cody Gakpo, Ben Doak, Diogo Jota, Jarell Quansah, and James McConnell.

Out of the five games played, Liverpool secured three victories, recorded one draw, and suffered one defeat. The team scored a total of 18 goals while conceding 11 goals in return.

When it comes to goalscoring, Darwin Nunez and Diogo Jota were the top performers, both finding the back of the net four times.
