Szoboszlai continued his good form with a quality performance in Hungary

Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai produced another top-class performance as he captained Hungary to a 2-1 victory over Serbia on Thursday.

The 22-year-old has hit the ground running at Anfield following his summer switch from RB Leipzig and continued his great early season form on international duty.

Deployed in an advanced midfield role, Szoboszlai covered every blade of grass with his relentless energy and quality both on and off the ball.

He is already a huge favourite with Liverpool fans thanks to his dynamism and flair since arriving for £60 million. It’s no surprise he is already captaining his country at such a young age.

Szoboszlai oozes class and orchestrated Hungary’s midfield masterfully, even grabbing an assist for the opening goal.

With the Merseyside derby looming when club football returns, Liverpool will hope their new star can come through the international break unscathed.
