Next week’s match at Etihad Stadium will determine the winner, as Real Madrid and Manchester City played an exciting 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie at Santiago Bernabeu.

Despite creating numerous chances, Man City failed to capitalize in the first half due to a combination of Thibaut Courtois’ saves and poor finishing.

They were then punished just before half-time when Eduardo Camavinga assisted Vinicius Junior, whose shot from the edge of the box beat Ederson and gave Real Madrid a lead which was against the flow of play.

Real Madrid maintained their lead until half-time, and the second half saw a reversal of fortunes, as they dominated play.

Despite Thibaut Courtois making a great save to deny Kevin De Bruyne, the Manchester City player was able to equalize with a stunning long-range strike after 68 minutes, leveling the scores for the visitors.

With De Bruyne’s goal, the tie is now evenly poised heading into the second leg on Wednesday.
