United now have their sights set on winning both domestic cups in the same season, a feat they have never accomplished before.

Manchester United not only have bragging rights at stake in the upcoming derby against Manchester City, but they must also secure a victory to put a stop to City’s seemingly unstoppable march towards a historic Treble, which would match United’s own famous success from 1999.

Manchester City is concerned about the fitness of up to five players, including Jack Grealish, Kevin De Bruyne, and Ruben Dias, ahead of the Wembley final.

Following their loss to Brentford, Guardiola confirmed that the team has a few players with minor injuries. On a more positive note, both Nathan Ake and Aymeric Laporte have recovered from their injuries and are fit to play.

As for Manchester United, Erik ten Hag’s squad will be without Anthony Martial up front, and there is uncertainty over Antony’s availability due to an ankle injury sustained last week.

With that in mind, Marcus Rashford is expected to lead the line, with support from Jadon Sancho, Bruno Fernandes, and possibly Alejandro Garnacho.

In defense, Raphael Varane will likely pair up with either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof. Despite missing the recent 2-1 victory over Fulham, Luke Shaw is anticipated to be fit for the upcoming game.

The manager will have to choose between Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot for the right-back position.
