Manchester United will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat to Brighton when they host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Sunday. However, Erik ten Hag’s side have some injury concerns going into the match.

Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez faces an absence of at least two months because of a foot issue. This is a blow for United who had been impressed with Martinez’s performances so far.

Sergio Reguilon is also out with a muscle injury for Palace, meaning that Sofyan Amrabat is likely to continue in an unfamiliar left-back role.

United midfielders Christian Eriksen and Scott McTominay are doubts after illness but winger Antony will not be involved despite returning to training.

For Palace, forward Odsonne Edouard remains out with a hamstring strain. Dean Henderson and Jairo Riedewald both suffered injuries in the Carabao Cup defeat against United on Tuesday and join the likes of Jefferson Lerma and Michael Olise on the sidelines.

It remains to be seen how United will cope without Martinez at the back. A win would help bounce back from the Brighton defeat but Palace have caused United problems in recent meetings. With injuries on both sides, it could be a tightly contested match at Old Trafford on Saturday.
