Premier League:- Arsenal demonstrated their fortitude and prevailed in a highly challenging match against Newcastle, securing a 2-0 victory at St James’ Park and keeping themselves in contention for the title race.

Match Report:

Arsenal displayed unwavering determination and adherence to their tactics in a riveting match played in a fierce atmosphere.

Martin Odegaard scored a goal from 30 yards out in the 14th minute, and a Fabian Schar own-goal in the second half sealed their 2-0 victory.

Newcastle had won eight of their last nine games and had suffered only two defeats in their last 24 Premier League home games.

However, despite Jacob Murphy and Alexander Isak both striking the woodwork, Newcastle couldn’t find a way to score.

With just a single point separating them from Pep Guardiola’s squad, who still have a game in hand, Arsenal is keeping the pressure on Manchester City in this captivating title race.

It may prove to be a futile pursuit, but Arsenal is determined to remain in the hunt for the title.
