Marcus Rashford Escapes Unhurt in Car Crash Outside Manchester United’s Training Ground

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford was involved in a car accident outside the club’s Carrington training ground on Saturday night. The incident occurred shortly after United’s 1-0 victory over Burnley, as players were making their way home following their return to Carrington on the team bus.
Rashford’s journey took an unexpected turn when his £700,000 Rolls Royce collided with another vehicle. Although there was significant damage to his car, both Rashford and the other driver emerged from the accident unharmed. Police officers arrived at the scene to manage the wreckage, but no ambulance was required.
Footage of the incident circulated on social media, revealing the extent of the damage to Rashford’s Rolls Royce. The rear bumper was torn off, and pieces of it were scattered on the side of the road. A nearby pole on a traffic island was also damaged as a result of the collision.
An eyewitness who was being diverted by police due to the crash reported that Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, who was also heading home from the training ground, quickly checked on Rashford’s well-being. This display of concern and support from Fernandes highlights the strong camaraderie among the players.
While the crash left Rashford shaken, he did not sustain any injuries. As of now, he has not been ruled out of contention for Tuesday’s Carabao Cup meeting with Crystal Palace, and there is hope that he will be available for selection.
Rashford is known for his passion for luxury cars and is an avid collector. His car collection includes a recently added £560,000 Rolls Royce Cullinan Blue Shadow, bringing his total to three Rolls Royce vehicles. Additionally, he owns a £280,000 McLaren 765 Long Tail and a £350,000 Lamborghini Urus Performante, showcasing his love for high-end automobiles.
While the incident serves as a reminder of the potential risks involved in driving, the fact that Rashford escaped the crash without injury is a relief for both him and Manchester United. The club and its fans will be hoping for his swift recovery and return to the pitch as they continue their competitive campaigns.
