L’Equipe reports that Monaco is seeking a fee in the region of €40million to €50million for the 25-year-old defender, which is around £34million.

It is believed that Manchester United will have no issues paying this amount for the highly-rated Frenchman.

Disasi featured in all of Monaco’s league matches this season, scoring three times and registering three assists in 38 games.

He was not initially selected for Didier Deschamps’ France squad for the World Cup in December but joined the team later when Presnel Kimpembe was forced to withdraw.

The 25-year-old played a crucial role in France’s campaign, making three appearances, including in the final.

AS Monaco is reportedly ready to let Disasi leave just three years after his arrival from Stade de Reims. The Ligue 1 giants are looking to balance their budget after finishing outside of the Champions League places.

It remains to be seen whether Manchester United can conclude the deal swiftly, with reports in France suggesting that Disasi will join Erik ten Hag’s side.

Nonetheless, Disasi’s arrival would bolster United’s defence, providing them with a solid partner for Maguire at the heart of their defence.
