Man City News:-

New information has emerged regarding Manchester City’s right-back Joao Cancelo that may attract the attention of Barcelona and Arsenal for the upcoming summer transfer window.

Cancelo is currently on loan to Bayern Munich, where he joined in January and has recently won the Bundesliga title.

According to reports, Manchester City has included a clause in Cancelo’s loan agreement that requires Bayern to pay 70 million euros if they choose to sign him permanently.

As per a report from the German newspaper BILD, Bayern Munich has reportedly decided against signing Joao Cancelo on a permanent basis, and will instead send him back to Manchester City.

This development may be good news for Arsenal and Barcelona, who were previously linked with the right-back.

Additionally, according to the newspaper Sport, Manchester City has reduced the price they were initially asking for Cancelo’s potential sale, and are now willing to sell him for 40 million euros.

Barcelona is reportedly interested in having Joao Cancelo play as a right-back, a position he has played for most of this season alongside Jules Kounde.

However, as this is not his primary position, there are questions about his future role.

On the other hand, Mikel Arteta is keen on signing Cancelo as one of Arsenal’s star players in recent transfer markets, as part of the club’s rebuilding process.

Cancelo joined Manchester City from Juventus in 2019 and has played 154 games, winning several trophies during his time with the club.
