Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp, has commended Brighton & Hove Albion for their impressive performance in their 6-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on April 29.

Brighton has been having a stellar 2022-23 season, even after the departure of their former manager Graham Potter to Chelsea earlier in the season. Under the leadership of Roberto De Zerbi, the Seagulls have maintained their progress, as evidenced by their dominant win over Wolves.

Despite some key players like Kaoru Mitoma, Moises Caicedo, and Alexis Mac Allister starting on the bench, Brighton managed to secure a comfortable victory. Deniz Undav, Pascal Gross, and Danny Welbeck each scored two goals to seal their impressive triumph.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was impressed with Brighton’s performance and commented on it via the BBC, saying, “Brighton played one of the most exceptional football games this weekend that I have ever witnessed in my life. Roberto De Zerbi, wow. They are two games behind us in the league table. Aston Villa is also making progress. If we can maintain our position ahead of them, it will be a success.”
