Brighton & Hove Albion will host Manchester United in a highly anticipated Premier League match on Thursday.

The hosts will be eager to seek revenge for their FA Cup defeat to Manchester United, which ended in a heartbreaking penalty shootout.

In their last game, Brighton & Hove Albion put on a dominant display, scoring six goals against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Meanwhile, Manchester United recorded a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa, which dented their opponents’ European ambitions.

Team News

Brighton & Hove Albion will be without several key players for their match against Manchester United on Thursday.

Jakub Moder, Tariq Lamptey, Jeremy Sarmiento, and Adam Lallana are all ruled out due to injury, while Evan Ferguson, who is nursing an ankle concern, will not be risked.

Joel Veltman also limped off during their last game, and his availability for the upcoming match is uncertain.

If Veltman is unavailable, Pascal Gross could shift to right-back, and several players, including Kaoru Mitoma, Alexis Mac Allister, Moises Caicedo, and Levi Colwill, will be vying for a spot in the starting lineup.

On the other hand, there have been no significant changes in Manchester United’s injury list.

Donny van de Beek, Alejandro Garnacho, Tom Heaton, Phil Jones, Raphael Varane, and Lisandro Martinez are still out due to various injuries.

Scott McTominay’s knock may also prevent him from playing against Brighton.

The partnership of Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof is expected to continue in defence, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka may also return to the starting lineup.

Jadon Sancho may be replaced by Antony after failing to make an impact in their last game against Aston Villa.

Brighton & Hove Albion possible starting lineup:
Steele; Gross, Colwill, Dunk, Estupinan; Caicedo, Mac Allister; March, Enciso, Mitoma; Welbeck

Manchester United possible starting lineup:
De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelof, Shaw, Malacia; Casemiro; Fernandes, Sabitzer, Eriksen, Antony; Rashford
