Hours after reports emerged linking Mohamed Salah with a move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad, the player’s agent has dismissed speculation.

Claims in the Middle East, via Al-Riyadiah, saw Salah touted with a switch to join Fabinho at Al-Ittihad, in a deal worth £155 million. The Egyptian, it was reported, would be paid that fee in wages over two years, while Liverpool would be offered £60 million to sign him.

However, Salah’s agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, has taken to Twitter to deny the rumors.

“If we considered leaving LFC this year, we wouldn’t have renewed the contract last summer,” Issa wrote. “Mohamed remains committed to LFC.”

Salah’s contract with Liverpool runs until 2025, and he has repeatedly said that he wants to stay at the club. He is a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s team, and he is one of the best players in the world.

It is therefore highly unlikely that Salah will leave Liverpool this summer. The rumors are likely just speculation, and they should be treated with caution.

**Salah’s Ambition**

It stands to reason that there would be interest in Salah from clubs in Saudi Arabia, particularly given his global appeal as an Arabic footballer. However, the player’s ambition separates him from the likes of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, who made the surprise decision to follow the money to the Saudi Pro League.

Salah is still at the peak of his powers, and he has his sights set on winning more trophies with Liverpool. He is also a role model for many young footballers, and he wants to set a good example by staying loyal to his club.

**Klopp Can Build Around Salah**

As expected, Jurgen Klopp can build around his No. 11 again this summer – with Salah the only forward currently guaranteed a starting spot. The German manager will be hoping that Salah can continue his goalscoring form from last season, and he will be looking to add more firepower to his attack in the coming months.

With Salah committed to Liverpool, Klopp can focus on other areas of the squad. The Reds need to strengthen their midfield and defense, and they will be looking to make some big signings in the summer transfer window.
