Manchester United put Jadon Sancho up for sale after ten Hag exile

Manchester United have decided to sell Jadon Sancho in the January transfer window following his ongoing feud with manager Erik ten Hag.

Sancho has been training alone since being left out of the squad for the Arsenal game in early September. Ten Hag said it was for poor training performances, but Sancho disputed this on social media.

Despite teammates like Rashford, Maguire and Shaw urging him to make peace with ten Hag, Sancho has been unwilling to compromise or apologize. As a result, United are now making plans for his exit in January.

Sancho has struggled since his £73 million move from Dortmund in 2021, scoring just 12 goals in 82 games. Last season he was given time off to deal with physical and mental issues.

United know they won’t recoup the full fee, with Sancho’s value falling to around £40 million. But ten Hag won’t recall him until receiving a sincere apology, which hasn’t happened.

With the situation at an impasse, United are preparing to sell Sancho and cut their losses. His former club Dortmund could be interested, but his disciplinary record worries some teams. So January looks to be Sancho’s last chance to leave Old Trafford.
