Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided an injury update on Luke Shaw, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojbjerg ahead of their Premier League match against Everton on Sunday.

Ten Hag confirmed that Shaw is available for selection after recovering from a serious thigh injury that had kept him sidelined for the past three months. The England defender played the first two games of the season but has been absent since.

Andre Onana has also been given the green light after recovering from a groin strain picked up on international duty with Cameroon. The goalkeeper took part in full training without issue.

Rasmus Hojbjerg faces a late fitness test for the Everton game after tweaking his hamstring in United’s last match. The Danish striker withdrew from his national team commitments but has returned to training, though Ten Hag is still unsure if he will be fit in time.

Ten Hag acknowledged Shaw’s return will be a major boost, having had to use various options at left-back in his absence. The manager praised Shaw’s physicality, technical ability, and leadership qualities, and believes his presence will bring more stability to the team. Both Shaw and Onana being available again are positive developments as United look to continue their good form against Everton on Sunday.
